THE SERVICE, EXPLAINED

New office IT setup brings several technical workstreams into one implementation plan. It coordinates the premises, connectivity, user accounts, devices and essential applications so that the agreed business tasks can be tested before handover. Internet activation, building access, equipment procurement and specialist systems remain explicit dependencies rather than assumed inclusions.

Where would you like to start?

WHAT WE DO

A defined scope for your business.

A new office needs more than a collection of equipment. Desk locations influence cable routes, internet handoff affects network commissioning, and accounts and applications determine what staff can actually do on their first day. ITZ helps turn these dependencies into a sequenced scope with named approval owners.

This service is the coordination layer for a new workplace. Detailed cabling and switching belong to Office Network Setup; Microsoft 365 migration and security improvements have their own specialist scopes. We connect the relevant services without pretending every new office needs the same package.

01

Requirements and site readiness

Review users, rooms, desk points, essential applications and the handover date. Identify access permissions, power, cabinet space and fit-out dependencies.

02

Connectivity coordination

Plan internet handoff, wired and wireless requirements and any provider involvement. Order dates and provider activation remain separately confirmed.

03

Accounts and devices

Define account ownership, required licences, laptop or desktop preparation and access to approved business tools.

04

Commissioning and handover

Test the agreed user tasks, document the implemented equipment and configuration, and confirm who provides ongoing support.

MAKE AN INFORMED CHOICE

The right approach depends on the problem.

The premises are still being fitted out Start with requirements and an infrastructure plan Layout, power, cable routes and building approvals

DETAILS THAT MATTER

Work backwards from the first tasks your staff must complete.

Opening day should be defined in business terms: staff can sign in, reach the required systems, join a meeting and use agreed printing or shared files. A connected laptop alone is not an acceptance test. List these tasks early, including which depend on third-party applications or external providers.

For example, a small office may have internet access but still lack authorised access to its accounting platform. Another may have accounts ready while its communications cabinet remains inaccessible during fit-out. A useful plan separates IT implementation from building work and provider lead times, records the dependencies and identifies what can be staged before site installation.

Site readiness

Power, access and infrastructure dependencies are confirmed.

Business readiness

Tests reflect the tasks the team needs to perform.

Clear ownership

Accounts, subscriptions and administration belong to the correct business owner.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Answers before you commit.

Does this include every office technology system?

Only the systems in the approved scope. Phones, meeting rooms, CCTV, access control, specialist applications and building work are reviewed and priced separately where needed.

Can you guarantee the internet provider activation date?

No. Provider activation and building permissions have external dependencies. We identify them in the plan and discuss practical staging options rather than promise a date outside our control.

Is support after opening included?

Handover is part of the agreed implementation. Ongoing support, maintenance and any contract coverage are defined separately unless explicitly included.
